The ticket office is located on the garden level, behind the Museum. You can access it by the garden gate on boulevard Pie-IX or via :

**Proof of residence required / Due to the increasing traffic on free days, the digital tablet to help visitors won’t be available. However, facilitator guides will be in the rooms to inform visitors / Entrance for the last visitors is at 4 p.m.

Visitory guide
The purchase of tickets is the same day of your visit to the museum ticket office.
No reservation required, except for guided tours.
Payment method
The museum accepts cash payment, Canadian debit cards (Interac) and Visa and Mastercard credit cards.
Where to enter?
The main entrance to the museum is on the ground floor at the back of the building.
You can access it by the garden gate of boulevard Pie-IX or by the entrance to the parking lot located at 2929, avenue Jeanne‑d’Arc.
Parking
The museum has free parking. It is reserved for visitors for the duration of their visit to Château Dufresne only. The number of space is limited.
Preservation of collections
Château Dufresne is a classified historic monument. In order to preserve it, it is prohibited to touch the works, furniture and other elements of decor.
Photos and videos
Taking images and videos is prohibited at all times without explicit consent and written understanding with museum officials. Requests are assessed on a case-by-case basis. Fees are required.
The use of a flash or photography accessories (telescopic pole, tripod, etc.) is prohibited everywhere inside the museum.
Drinks and food
It is forbidden to drink, eat and circulate with food or drink containers in the museum.
Bags
For security reasons, all backpacks and tote bags must be left in the locker room. The small handbags are however allowed in the rooms. Individual lockers at a cost of $ 1 CA are available in the locker room to secure personal effects during the visit.
Changing room
A free self-service locker room is available to visitors. The museum is not responsible for the effects left in the locker room.
Accessibility
The museum is accessible to strollers and people with reduced mobility. The building has an access ramp and an elevator. A wheelchair is made available to visitors for free. Note that it is not possible to reserve this chair in advance.
Animals
Pets are not allowed in the museum, with the exception of guide dogs or assistance. The museum reserves the right to request proof that it is indeed a service dog if necessary.
