We need your support

The Château Dufresne is undergoing substantive renovations and needs your invaluable support to ensure that its conservation and exhibition programs, as well as its educational and cultural activities, remain vital and benefit all Quebeckers young and old.

Every donation, no matter how small, is important to keep alive the exceptional heritage of this indispensable Montreal East institution, which was designated a historical monument in 1976. Our subsidies and independent revenue cover only a part of our expenses. Without you, we would not be able to take steps the needed to stimulate Quebeckers’ passion for, and engagement in, history and the arts.

Whether as a company or foundation, or as a private individual, you can directly contribute to the dynamic relationship between the Château Dufresne and its communities by building, along with us, an open museum that fosters discovery, inclusiveness, education, creation and collaboration.

There are a number of different ways in which you can support the Museum :

La Société du Château Dufresne inc. is a registered charity: 142992601RR0001

Any time is good to make a donation!

      Studio Nincheri Funding Campaign

      The Studio Nincheri is…

A long patronage tradition involving the brothers Oscar and Marius Dufresne and the master stained-glass and fresco artist Guido Nincheri.

      The Studio Nincheri is…

A decorative arts laboratory that has maintained its original installations, where over 5 000 glass artworks were manufactured between 1925 and 1996.

      The Studio Nincheri is…

A cross section of the city’s sacred heritage and numerous places of worship in nine Canadian provinces and seven New England States.

      The Studio Nincheri is…

An emblematic place in the history of the Hochelaga-Maisonneuve district. In 2013, the Société du Château Dufresne acquired the Studio and made it part its immovable property collection with support from the Ministère de la Culture et des Communications du Québec, the borough of Mercier-Hochelaga-Maisonneuve, Caisses Desjardins, and the eastern region of Montreal. This will ensure that the Studio is protected and promoted it for future generations.

      The Studio Nincheri is…

You too! Your generosity will enable you to participate in the preservation and promotion of the Studio Nincheri. Your contribution will make it possible to :

      • Maintain and restore this jewel of Art Deco architecture and adapt it to the latest safety standards to ensure that it is fully accessible
      • Preserve this artist’s work
      • Offer activities to breathe new life into this heritage site
