The Imaginary of Abstraction
From 1965 to 1968, pioneers of abstraction exhibited at the Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal, then housed in the Château Dufresne. Their works bear witness to the birth of this artistic movement in Quebec. In the studio, young people will draw inspiration from Quebec artists belonging to this important artistic movement to create their own abstract drawings, giving free rein to their imagination and creativity.
